Just because someone betrays their friends, do they always do it willingly? If someone you love is put at stake, what would you do?

Mithian 3

An Unwilling betrayer

Mithian could barely take it in. Earlier today she had been out hunting with her father and the knights and now was being forced to bow at Odin's feet. How had everything gone so wrong?

"Princess Mithian," an oily voice made Mithian look up. She found herself ? staring into the battle hardened face of King Odin. "You are as beautiful as they say."

Mithian couldn't contain herself any longer. What kind of man could murder so many innocent people and then walk in calmy into her father's throne room and comment on her beauty? "You Odin," Mithian spat, loathing dripping from her voice, "are a cold blooded murderer."

Rodor and Mithian were dragged out of the room by Odin's men and were taken down seperate corridors. Mithian wondered if she would ever see her father again.

The Lies BeginEdit

Mithian rode exhausted into the courtyard of Camelot, she could barely stay on her horse. Morgana was riding behind her. Morgana's cruel words resounded in her head. "I don't care how you do it, just lead Arthur to the Tomb if you ever want to see your father again." Mithian swallowed past the lump in her throat, she was torn between love and loyalty.

As her snow white horse clattered into the courtyard, Mithian felt drained. Vaguely she saw several knights arrive on the steps.

"Show yourself!" Sir Leon cried.

Mithian swept back her green hood. Leon's eyes widened in disbelief. She allowed a genuine smile to grace her lips.

"Sir Leon," she greeted. "It gladdens my heart to see you again..." suddenly Mithian felt her legs give out beneath her. Leon was over at her side in an instant, sweeping his strong arms under her body. Somewhere in the distance, someone said "My lady..." Then pure sweet blackness claimed her.
